New survey service for schools

Schools registered with Search Associates can now access a new service designed to help them collect and analyze data to support their strategic planning and development activities.

Search has just launched its Survey design and data analysis consultation service, which offers professional support and advice in audience identification, survey design, data collection and analysis.

The service is being headed up by Search Associates consultant Georgeann Taylor, who has extensive experience working with independent and international schools to conduct full-scale surveys as well as in recruiting.

Georgeann said:

"Whether it's input relating to an upcoming strategic plan, a poll of parents on the curriculum or market testing plans for expansion, gathering quality information from key groups is an essential part of a school's efforts to maintain a community that is actively engaged.

"That information also plays a key part in a school's planning for a successful future because decisions are made on hard and fast data rather than speculation or anecdotal evidence. Schools are increasingly recognizing this, but understandably find it difficult to find the time and resource to undertake this sort of activity effectively. That's where Search can help.

Working together with Heads and Boards, Search identifies what information needs to be gathered, designs and carries out the surveys electronically, and then compiles and analyses the data. The results are summarised and key findings presented to the school in a clear and concise manner.

Founding Director of Search Associates, John Magagna added:

"Search is always striving to identify new ways to support schools in their efforts to plan for their future and we are really delighted to offer this unique and valuable new service."

Anyone interested to find out more about the new service can contact John, Georgeann or Jim Ambrose.
