Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou

The well-established Lycée Français International School Georges Pompidou (LFIGP) is now on Search Associates’ roster of first-class schools. LFIGP was built in 1973 as a preschool in Oud Metha in Dubai, U.A.E. In the following years, two additional campuses--one for an elementary school and one for a secondary school--were constructed in Academic City, Dubai.

Currently 2,700 K-12 students from 41 nations attend LFIGP, now in its 40th year. Studying in the French system, the students work towards the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. The majority of teachers are French nationals, but the teaching faculty of 197 also includes six teachers from North America and the U.K. LFIGP provides a comprehensive education on three sites, with a full staff of 250, including administrative personnel, teachers, educational assistants, nursery assistants, medical staff, and more!

LFIGP prefers to hire single teachers without dependents and married couples with or without dependents. The school is not interested in interns or singles with dependents. Only certificated teachers up to the age of 55 will be issued work visas.

A large settling-in allowance, housing allowance, and round trip airfare every three years makes for a nice benefits package and an opportunity for savings. LFIGP also provides worldwide insurance coverage.
