Kaluga International School Joins Search Associates

Search Associates has added Kaluga International School (KIS) in Russia to our line-up of prestigious schools, and it could be the perfect match for you! Opened in August 2012, this small school is authorized to deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP) as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). KIS is accredited by the local Ministry of Education and Science. The school is surrounded by green fields in the countryside, 20 minutes outside of Kaluga city-center and just two hours from Moscow. KIS, with 55 students from 15 different nations, is an extension of the friendly and welcoming local, multinational community. The current teaching staff of 13 includes one N. American, five British, and seven Russians.

KIS is looking for high-energy, certified teachers who will be fully involved in school life. The school prefers to hire single and married teachers without dependents as well as married couples with a non-teaching spouse. KIS will consider hiring outstanding, certified teachers with limited experience. Contracts are for two years, and there is no age limit for a certified teacher obtaining a work visa.

And what a benefits package! KIS provides not only a generous salary, but also airfare and an excess baggage allowance for one annual trip. Housing is paid for, as is local and worldwide medical coverage. Tuition and school bus service are also free. Expected savings for single teachers without dependents is $28,000, while teaching couples could save up to $50,000. A family of four could definitely 'make do' on one salary.
